Our dojo is committed to being a good neighbor in our community. We offer demonstrations for church and community groups, collect food for area food banks, and participate in special projects for the holidays. We strongly believe that the practice of Aikido should extend outside the dojo into all walks of life, and service to the community is one way that we strive to accomplish this.

Although we've adopted an expanded class schedule which means we're more spread out, we hope to maintain the sense of community we're so proud of in our dojo. We gather to celebrate tests/achievements, welcome visitors from our affiliated dojo, greet the New Year, and get together just for fun.

Once a year we close the dojo for class and deep clean our mats, floors, and dressing areas. Of course, we also see this occasion as another excuse to have a party!
